I was socialising on Saturday and the phrase ‘Mind your P’s and Q’s’ came up, and I wondered… apparently it means ‘Mind your “quarts” and “pints”, this saying was used in England hundreds of years ago. The “barkeepers would say this to patrons when they were getting out of hand.
